Journal Club

The Journal Club is an opportunity for members of the BC Midwifery Network to review research and midwifery-related topics in an informal venue. Research may be in the form of journal articles, books, documentaries or any other form that is of interest to the group. Participants are encouraged to bring their comments, insights, questions and critiques to the meeting for a collegial and hopefully lively discussion!

The Journal Club meets monthly, on the fourth Tuesday of the month, from 12:00 – 13:00. Members may either meet in person at UBC, in the Family Practice Boardroom (3rd floor, David Strangway building, 5950 University Blvd) or remotely via Blue Jeans. The Journal Club is currently on hiatus, with meetings resuming again in September 2017. Please stay tuned for meeting dates.

To join via Blue Jeans, follow this link To phone in, dial 1-888-240-2560 and enter meeting ID 666650747.
